That’s a good list. Of the Angeles Forest hikes listed, Mt. Baldy is my favorite. Though the terrain from Islip Saddle to Baden-Powell is pretty competitive. Are you planning a multi-day trip to Whitney? I’m going August 14. I have 3 days but I’m training to be able to day hike it in case the weather is bad. Starting next week I’ll be posting Angeles Forest hikes that have at least one of 22 miles or 6600′ gain–sometime both. Good luck with your training! Buckskin Gulch looks fantastic! Kyle
